Nigerian Army Releases Shortlisted Candidates for DSSC 29 and SSCC 49 Recruitment

 

The Nigerian Army has officially released the list of shortlisted candidates for the 2026 Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 29 and Short Service Combatant Commission (SSCC) Course 49 recruitment exercises.

Applicants who participated in the recruitment process are advised to check their application status through the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal. Candidates can access their status by logging in with the email address and password used during registration. The shortlisted candidates list can be viewed or downloaded from the dashboard.

Candidates whose names appear on the list are expected to report for the selection board and screening exercise with all required documents. These include the original copies and photocopies of educational certificates, birth certificate or declaration of age, state of origin certificate, National Identification Number (NIN) slip, Bank Verification Number (BVN), passport photographs, and full-size standing photographs in a suit with their details written on the back.

Shortlisted applicants must also present scratch cards for the online verification of WAEC or NECO results, along with their application acknowledgment slip and screening invitation slip.

The Nigerian Army emphasized that candidates must not report to the screening venue with electronic gadgets, recording devices, or prohibited items. Applicants are also required to be free of tattoos, unauthorized piercings, and any form of cult affiliation.

All shortlisted candidates are advised to carefully follow the instructions provided on the recruitment portal and ensure they arrive at their designated screening centers with the complete set of required documents to avoid disqualification.
