The 27-year-old walked away from the crash, which happened on Millhouse Woods Lane in Cottingham on Friday morning. His vehicle, a grey Land Rover Defender, was pictured on its roof, with broken windows. Humberside Police said emergency services remained at the scene and asked people to avoid the area. In a statement, the club said it was "relieved" to hear its player, who joined the Tigers from Championship side Stoke City earlier this month, was unharmed. The club added: "The club is aware of images of Sorba's car circulating on social media and can reassure supporters that he has sustained no injuries and emerged from his vehicle completely unscathed." A woman who lives at the scene said the crash, which happened at about 08:30 BST, woke her up. "I was laid in bed [and] heard a noise – crash, bang," she said. An NHS worker who lives on the road said the incident had left him unable to go to work as the road was blocked. "There will be patients who will miss appointments because of this," he said. "It's one road in and one road out. It was an accident waiting to happen."
